Maegan Crandall

Maegan's interest in Sat Yaatraa began early on with a passion for culture, travel, and the sacred. Her creative drive and truthful journey has inspired her to channel her fire into interests such as a vintage clothing company, artisan imports, and fashion. She has worked so far with artists from Niger, Columbia, and Ghana, creating unique lines of jewelry and clothing, blending traditional and modern trends, and contributing to the rural economies of small villages across the world. Creating these lines are a part of Maegan's Sat Yaatraa, or truthful journey. As a modern day Goddess, she understands the importance and power in one's choice of adornment and aspires to create clothing and jewelry lines that reflect harmonious vibrations and the sacred and divine nature of our internal and external environments, thus giving consumers a choice about where to put their money and how they want to adorn their body temple.

Maegan graduted with honors from Antonelli Institute with a degree in Fine Art Photgraphy and received many awards for her work. She is a gifted and inspired photographer. She also graduated in 2006. from Millersville University in Pennsylvannia, with B.A. degrees in Cultural Anthropology & Global Geography.

Maegan and Kelly started an Import Company called Artisan Culture in 2006 to facilitate their interests in culture, travel, art, Ayurveda, and all that is sacred. To date, they have imported fine arts and crafts, jewelry, and clothing, from Ghana, Niger and Columbia. They have plans to expand to Mexico, India, Peru, and the Middle East, as their business grows. They are currently working to find funding to facilitate their visions.
